"M-Train" Rap Music Video, An Ode to GA Tech - April 30, 2008
This is an interesting little project I did with a good friend, purely for fun, to express our enthusiasm for Georgia Tech and what it has grown to mean to us during our time there. Influenced by 5 years of classes, tests, homework, late nights, and lots of pizza, the song was co-written by me and Daniel Baily (DBay/gtg491y), as we unveil a story of taking the beloved "M-Train," or being a Management major at Georgia Tech. Of course we know nothing's easy at Tech, but we still like to give our fellow MGT majors a hard time. The song was recorded and the video shot/edited all in one week's time. Thanks are in order to everyone you see in the video, and those who were behind the camera as well. Enjoy!
Finished College, Mixing 7 Times Silver, Tracking The Taxi - May 14, 2007
Swaff Studios has been really busy lately! First of all, I just graduated from Georgia Tech, a dream that's been 5 years in the making. Where has time went? Now that I'm done, I'll be working with Third Day keyboardist at his studio, Turn It Up Productions, as an engineer. I'll still be doing freelance work in downtime, but I'm excited to see what all God has in store for working alongside Scotty. Back to business, though.
Just finished up all tracking with 7 Times Silver and I'm currently in the middle of mixing their EP. There will be 5 songs and one B-Side. The album's sounding great and I really like the energy these guys harnessed in the studio.
Recently began tracking with Atlanta band, The Taxi, a pop rock/soul band. They brought a lot of cool stuff to the table with new songs and the new direction their music is headed. Finished tracking instruments for 4 songs and vocals for one song. Look for more updates soon...check out the video blog while you're waiting...
Matthew Schwartz of Pacifico - April 9, 2007
Interview with Matthew Schwartz of Pacifico about his recent visit to Swaff Studios to record the Facedown EP.
Silas, Progressive Rock band - March 30, 2007
Currently in the studio working with Silas on their full-length. Very thoughtful arrangements and heavy guitars...blended styles of metal, punk, hardcore, etc. They are a 3-piece band that rocks! Almost through with tracking; a couple more guitar tracks to go and a handfull of vocals. The album title as of present is "The Overlap," as the whole album was witten for tracks to flow seamlessly together. Check them out a myspace.com/silasga.
Pacifico, Indie/Pop Rock - July 2006
Finished Pacifico's "Face Down" Ep. Credits on this album are recording/engineering/mixing/mastering, and I also did all the drum work for the songs. Album can be downloaded at Disc Revolt. Songs included "Move On," "17th & Something," "I Fell In Love With a Ghost," "Ruby," and "Face Down."
Machine
Gun Snowboard - December 5, 2005
I'm working on modifying a TechDeck hand skateboard
to have a machine gun aparatus on the front of it. The
toy is being shipped to a friend overseas in the military
who joked that he needed a "snowboard with a machine
gun on it" since it's about to start snowing in
Italy where he is based.
Who You
Know and What - December 2, 2005
Finished out this project involving interviewing a design
professional. Presented a powerpoint based around an
interview with John

Recording in Atlanta. Insights, quotes, and other
professional information was gleaned on.
